Frozen vs. Catching Fire

April 22, 2014

Movies with strong female leads provide great inspiration for themed weddings. We found two of our favorites online and thought we'd share to give you some ideas.
This Frozen-themed photo shoot is so fabulous we almost wish it was winter again--almost. We love her gorgeous braid (tutorial: http://youtu.be/7No-S07VaNc), her gray suede heels, and her dress with twig-like jewel embellishments. Also pay attention to all the details in the invitations, the centerpieces, her bouquet and how great is that shot of the bride and groom surrounded by candles and flowers?!
"May the odds be ever in your favor" as you recreate a "Catching Fire"-themed wedding. With gold and red as your main colors you're sure to draw attention and provide a memorable and exciting party for your guests. This bride's headpiece and makeup are bold and daring as is her gold dress made of sparkly tulle. We especially love her non-traditional bouquet (see the mockingjay pin?) and how she incorporated the book into her centerpieces (each table is a district), menu, and dessert table.
